Day 1 Arrive Xining
Take flight to Xining, the capital city of Qinghai. Meet local guide and driver and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy free time to accommodate the high latitude and get all gears prepared for our trekking trip.

Day 2 Xining to Maqen
Today, drive 6-7 hours 500 km from Xinghai city to Maqen Town. En route, the road is with ascendant of altitude up to over 3,300 m (10824ft). In the afternoon,drive through Xinghai to Maqen. The altitude of Maqen is 3700m (12,136ft). En route,visit Latcha (Lajia) Monastery which is firstly built during Qing Dynasty by the Yellow River.

Day 3 Maqen to Yak Ranch (Niuchang) via Cangnikanduo
Drive out of Dawu Town, the county town of Maqen. Then, drive up to Cangnikanduo, the starting point of Mountain Circulation.
Upload our gears, food and camping facilities to yaks and start trekking.
Tonight, stay in Yak Ranch.

Day 4 Yak Ranch (Niuchang) to Mowaduoli via Sangchi
Today start 7 hours trekking from Yak Ranch to Mowaduoli via Sangchi. crossing the Kumu River and enjoy mountains landscape en route.

Day 5 Mowaduoli to Xiadawu Riverside
Grassland via Zhaqing Bridege and Juemuyongran
Set out from Mowaduoli to Xiadawu Riverside grassland, on the way can see the highland landscape, the ancient glacier, groups Tibetan pray flags, wide grassland etc.

Day 6 Riverside Grassland to Ranch
Trek along the river to Xidawu Village, to visit the cultural center of Amne Machin. Then, cross Zhehede Mountain Pass, where can see the glaciers of Amni Machin and trek back to Ranch.

Day 7 Ranch to White Pogada (Baita)
Today, the trekking mostly is also up and down hill. The landscape today is as beautiful as yesterday. You can view the glacier, different plants, lakes and rivers.

Day 8 White Pogada (Baita) back Dawu via Cangnikanduo
Today, trek down to Cangnikanduo from Baita. The car will be waiting at Cangnikanduo, then drive back Dawu Town. In Hotel, have hot water shower after one week trek.

Day 9 Maqen to Xining
Today drive 6-7 hours back Xining from Maqen via Xinhai.
