Day 1: Arrive at Dali
Today, you take morning flight to Kunming, then transfer to take train to Dali. The guide will hold your name sign. Then be transferred to Zhoucheng village and meet the family you will
stay with. Zhoucheng, a village famed for Bai’s Tie-dyeing art. It is the largest Bai village in Dali. Rest time leisurely walk and explore Zhoucheng village. Visit old house of traditional Bai style architecture. Also we will taste and learn how to make fragrant Tree-course Tea, a tea drinking ceremony of the Bai minority.
This evening, we will prepare for Chinese New Year’s Eve dinner with the local family.

Day 2: Zhoucheng to Shaxi
After breakfast, we will take part in Spring Festival activities in Zhoucheng. In Dali area, every Bai village has its own patron god called Benzhu. During Spring Festival, the Bai people usually make worship ceremony to show their respect for Benzhu. Such as playing firecrackers, playing Dragon dance and burning incense and offering food of tribute. You will experience the lively and unique life with local people. Drive about 2.5 hours to Shaxi old town in the afternoon.

Day 3: Shaxi
This morning, we will take part in Spring Festival activities in Mapingguan. Mapingguan is not far from Shaxi, we will take local four-wheel drive to Mapingguan and then hike up about 30 minutes to arrive village. It is a traditional village theatrical performance still reserved and you may enjoy to witness this old entertainment.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit Shibaoshan to see the grottos carved from Nanzhao Kingdom, about 1100 years ago. The beautiful grottos are still so vivid and glorious. After that, we drive back to Shaxi Village.

Day 4: Shaxi to Weishan
After breakfast, we will bicycle tour around Shaxi.
There are high mountains, complex landforms and limited conditions in Yunnan. Before time, the horse caravan was the most convenient and economical as almost the only way of transportation. Horse Caravan Road extended all the way to Tibet and South Asia. Shaxi was an important station on this trading way. Now it becomes a quiet and pretty small town as lead you to the past time. It is about 2 hours riding with passing ancient stage, Yujin bridge and Silian village.
After lunch we drive about 2 hours to Weishan old town.

Day 5: Back to Kunming
This morning we will visit Weibaosshan Daoist Mountain and make some hiking. Weibaoshan is one of the most renowned scenic spots in the Dali area. It is also one of the 13 China's most famous Daoism holy mountains. Here you can find many Daoist temples built at the period of Nanzhao Kingdom. It is also the birthplace of Xinluo, the first legendary King of Nanzhao Kingdom. The summit of Weibaoshan is 2509 meters above sea level.
After that we visit DongLianhua (Eastern Lotus Flower) Village, which is a Hui Muslim Village located by the Hong He River. The well preserved old buildings show great charm of the culture of Hui people. And it was awarded as a national cultural village in 2008.
Then transfer to Dali railway station to Kunming by high speed train. After arrival Kunming, transfer to hotel for rest.

Today, transfer to the airport and fly back home.
