Your
professional hiking guide and driver will pick you up at departure point-Jingmao
Westin Hotel. Then drive about 2 hours to Xizhazi village in Huairou county. We will start
our hiking to eastern direction from Jiankou Great Wall.
Jiankou is
translated as "Arrow Nock" in English, since the shape of the
mountains where the wall was built is like an arrow with the collapsed ridge
opening as its arrow nock. The main section of the wall was built along the
ridges with steep cliffs on each side. Therefore, you have to prepare for a
good fitness and great care if you climb this section.

Walk across
the village and hike for about 1 hour uphill on trail in woods, then you will
approach the Zhenbei Tower of Jiankou Great Wall. As climbing the tower, look
towards the west, you will have a breathtaking view of Jiankou section. When
look to the east side, you will see the Niujijiaobian, which is amazing in
shape of cattle horn.

We will enjoy our boxed lunch on the Great Wall—What a unique experience.
After lunch, we keep hiking to West section of Mutianyu Great Wall.

At the end there is a cable car stop, you can choose cable car by yourself
(pay cable car fee on your own) or continue hiking with us.

After finishing hiking tour, we will take shuttle bus back to station and
transfer to our car then drive back to Beijing.
