Day 1 Arrival Lijiang
Upon your arrival at Lijiang, be greeted by our Lijiang local guide and transfer about 1 hour to hotel in the ancient city of Lijiang, which is a world cultural heritage, one of the three ancient Chinese cities. The city is rich in culture of Naxi nationality.
Altitude of Lijiang is about 2,416 meters.

Day 2 Lijiang to Rock Village
After breakfast in the hotel,driving about 3-4 hours/100 kms from Lijiang to Guole Village.
Trekking from Guole Village to Rock City with 3 hours. The city itself looks like a huge mushroom uprising from the ground. On the huge rock, hundreds of houses were built, facing the grand valley of Yangtze River.
Trekking distance: 10kms
Altitude of the Rock City: 1,720m

Day 3 Trek from Rock City to Guomei (Upper Liuqing Village)
After breakfast, hit the road to Taiziguan (the Crowned Prince Pass).
Trek through a channel through the mountain. After the first channel, one more hour hike and get up to the second channel, which is 90 meters long and it is the higher place on our trail at Taigiguan.
Take the trail downhill about 1.5-2 hour until get to Upper Liuqing Village (Guomei) though the primitive pine forest.
Walking distance: 12kms
Walking hours: 6-7 hours.
Altitude of Guomei Village: 3,300 meters

Day 4 Trek from Guomei (Upper Liuqing Village) to Fenglian
After breakfast,head to Fenglian (or Fengke).
The trail is all downhill, with primitive pine forest, where can see the workers hang the plastic bags to collect Turpentine.
Further down, local people herding his goats on the mountain slopes, spreading away when they run across any people.
Take a break in No. 3 Liuqing Village, and visit a local primary school. After lunch in Liuqing Village No.3, continue our trek downhill about one hour then get back to wider trail and walk another 1-2 hours down to Fenglian Village.

Day 5 Trek from Fenglian to Labo Zhuangzi, partially with local vehicle transfer
After breakfast in Fenglian,walking down 1.5-2 hours to the local ferry on Jinsha River. Cross the river by local ferry boat. On the other side of Jinsha River, it is Ninglang County. Pumi and Mosuo People live on this area for over thousands of years.
Hike about 4 hours from Lakaixi village up to Gewa Village on the mountain and transfer us about 30 minutes drive to Labo Zhuangzi village, a beautiful village sitting next to forest.
When the 1,000 years huge walnut tree shows up, get to the home stay.

Day 6 Trek from Labo Zhuangzi to Lugu Lake
Right out of Labo Zhuangzi, trek uphill 2.5-3 hours through the dense primitive forest to Yongning Pass.About 1 hour downhill trek on the trail (which would be very muddy and sleeper in raining days), see Youngning River runs straightly to the Lion Mountain. Lugu Lake nestles quietly in further distance.
Then, hike up to the road and drive to Zhamei Monastery in the town of Yongning.Then we drive about 30 minutes to the hotel by Lugu Lake.

Day 7 Lugu Lake to Lijiang
If weather permits, get up early to admire the sunrise over the lake. The Lion Mountain sitting elegantly facing the lake.
Enjoy a short free time to explore around the area by the hotel by Lugu Lake then drive to Ninglang County. It takes about 3 hours drive from Lugu Lake to Ninglang County.
After across the bridge on the river, drive about one hour ascending up to the other side of the mountain till get to the pass where can see the big flat area of Lijiang.

Day 8 Depart Lijiang
Enjoy free time to explore around Lijiang old town before heading to the airport for flight depart Lijiang.
