Trip Overview
Over 2,000 years ago, when Emperor Qinshihuang unified the Great Walls of Northern China to defend against the Huns, the capital of the Middle Kingdom was still in Chang'an (Now Xi'an). He patrolled thousands of kilometers from Xi\'an to the east end of the Great Wall by sea. Now we have a city named after Emperor Qinshihuang; Qinhuangdao, which is the destination of this bike trip.
This trip starts from Beijing and we first head north to the Mutianyu Great Wall, then southwards to the Huangyaguan Great Wall in Tianjin, followed by the East Qing Tomb and the wild Great Walls in the mountains, ending at Beidaihe, a harbor city with coastal scenery.
Day 1 Arrive at Beijing
Fly to Beijing.
Be greeted by our local guide and transfer to hotel in downtown with a private car. Enjoy your free time to rest in the hotel after the long flight.

Evening, taste the famous Peking duck welcoming dinner.

Day 2 Huanghuacheng Great Wall to Mutianyu Great Wall
Today escape from the city and drive to Huanghuacheng Great Wall, the first section of the Great Wall to visit.
Spend some time on the Great Wall, take group pictures and do a little bit hiking.
Have lunch nearby before starting our biking later.
In the afternoon, continue cycling along the country road to Mutianyu Great Wall. The road this afternoon is pretty good with gradual uphill and downhill. Walk on the Great Wall and bike another 20km to our hotel.
Today, the biking is more like warm-up.

Day 3 Mutianyu Great Wall to Jinshanling Great Wall
After breakfast, start our biking following National Road 101 to Jinshanling to the north.
Have lunch before exploring the Great wall. Jinshanling Great Wall has been apprised as one of the most beautiful sections of the Great Wall.

Day 4 Jinshanling to Huangyaguan Great Wall
After breakfast, start your cycling to Taishitun town along G101, from where you take another road southwards along a river until getting into the mountains.
When the sun is shining on the cliff of Huangyaguan, arrive at the village under the cliff.

Day 5 Huangyaguan Great Wall to Zunhua
The same zigzag road will lead us to Qing East Tombs today.
The Eastern Qing Tomb where Emperor Qianlong and Dowager and quite many royal families were interred.
In the afternoon, we continue bike from Qing East Tomb to Zunhua Town. The 25-30KM is mostly flat road.

Day 6 Zunhua to Beidaihe
This morning, drive about 70KM to a small town named Zhenzi Town.
There take Road National 102 to bike 50KM eastward to Lulong County.
After lunch, cycle to our hotel in Beidaihe Resort area where we can enjoy a leisure afternoon.

Day 7 Beidaihe to Laolongtou
Compared to the last days, today\'s biking is much easier.
This morning, cycle to Jiaoshan Great Wall via Qinhuangdao City.
After visit this part of Wall, cycle on the country road along to Great Wall to Laolongtou, the Starting point of the Great Wall by the sea.
En route, take a stop in Shanhaiguan, the First Pass under Heaven.
Farewell dinner tonight.

Day 8 Driving Distance
After a leisure morning on the beach, drive about 4 hours back to Beijing.
After hotel check-in, have a good rest in the hotel or enjoy free time to explore around the city of Beijing.

Enjoy your free time to explore around the city before transfering to the airport for your flight to other destination or back home.
