Day 1 Arrive Guiyang
Take morning flight to Guiyang.
Skip over the city and drive to Jichang, an old Han Chinese village, where we explore the region’s remaining culture of the old Han (Chinese) ethnic group and watch local opera performance renowned for the performers\' exquisite wooden masks. Afterwards,have a short walk along the fields to Baotun old Han village. Drive back to Guiyang.

D2 Guiyang to Leishan
Start the tour in S.W Guizhou where is rich in minority ethnic groups’ culture.
In the morning, take van to Nangong township where locates in very backwoods places in the Mt of Leigong via Kaili city and Fanpai village where could have shamans.

D3 Trek in the villages
Taking van in a short time to Jiaomi village where starts hiking for almost 7-8hrs in the national preserve area via Shihuihe village, and after long time, reach to Fang Xiang township and drive back leishan.

D4 Trek in the villages
Have a recovery hike near Leishan for 3 hrs, from Maomaohe village to Jiaomeng village and finally to Baode village where might find the shamans. Taking van to Xijiang, which has been regarded as the biggest Miao village in China, contains 1000 families. It could be one of the best highlight of this trip IF we get to interview an old renowned Shaman. Take a ride back to Leishan.

D5 Leishan to Congjiang
In the morning drive 5 hours from Leishan to Congjiang to see Mr. Gun and his family in Basha village. En route, drive through some villages and a town named Rongjiang. In Basha village lives a sub-ethnic group of Miao though they are totally different from the Miao and bly carry on their own extraordinary traditions and culture. Spare the afternoon staying with the family.

D6 Basha to Zhaoxing
Spend the day exploring some more fabulous Dong villages in the Congjiang region. Begin with Zhanli Dong Village, which has continued to control birth rates for hundreds of years. Learn how the 150 families have managed to increase the local population by just 11 people since the 1955. Visit Huang Gang Dong Village, and Yintan Dong Village where Dong ancestors first settled when they migrated westwards to Guizhou thousands of years ago. Continue to Zhaoxing one of the largest Dong villages in Guizhou this evening.

Depart Zhaoxing to Guilin by High-speed train for 50mins, and transfer to Guilin airport.
