It is the nearest section of the Great Wall to Beijing - a little nearer than BaDaLing that it connects to; both these sections of Great Wall protect the same natural pass through the mountains through which now passes the Badaling Expressway and a railway line. JuYongGuan rises steeply each side of a fortified gate. There is a temple and other attractions near it. JuYongGuan Great Wall also features some life-size Terracotta Warriors.

Each pavilion, hall, stone and stream in the garden is expressing the quintessence of South China landscape design from Ming and Qing Dynasty. Over forty spots, pided by dragon walls, wound corridors and beautiful flowers, form a unique picture featuring "one step, one beauty; every step, every beauty." The surrounding market is packed with traditional and modern shops, restaurants and temples.

The French Concession is the area of Shanghai once designated for the French. It now covers the Luwan and Xuhui Districts. The concession is a pleasant mix of wide tree lined streets and interesting European style architecture.

The Bund in Shanghai is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai from early 1900\'s. It winds a 1500 meters (less than one mile) in length and a wonderful place to admire both of the old buildings on the west bank of Huangpu River and the brand grand new buildings in Pudong.
