Trip Overview
Beijing and Shanghai are China\'s most well-known cities in the world as her center of politics, culture and economy. In this 7-day tour, we will show you some selected scenery sites in the two cities. You will see traditional China in Beijing with Forbidden City, Great Wall, etc. While in Shanghai with the Bund, you will see how China fast blended itself into the world. While in Wuzhen of Zhangjiang Province, you will also see arts in traditional South China.
Itinerary
All meals listed as breakfast as B, Lunch as L and Dinner as D.
Day 1. Beijing Arrival
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our Beijing local guide at the airport. The guide will hold your name sign meeting you at the arrival hall exit. After that, hotel check-in and rest.

Day 2. the Forbidden City, Hutong tour, Dumpling making
This day, you begin your trip. Firstly, you will visit Jingshan Park and learn Tai Chi there. Then you will walk to the south gate of the Forbidden City and visit the emperor\'s palace. The nearly 600 years old Forbidden City is the main attraction of Beijing City. From 1442 to 1911, the emperors of Ming & Qing Dynasties ruled the Middle Kingdom here.
After lunch, we take a rickshaw tour in the Hutong area, visit a local family, where we also learn how to make dumpling. Then you will skate on a special bike in Houhai that is close to the Hutong area. The temperature is rather low then and it is common for locals to skate in the little lake.

Day 3. Juyongguan Great Wall, and massage
Great WallThere is a well-known saying goes that only when he goes to the Great Wall can one becomes a brave man. Today we will hike there.
JuYongGuan Great Wall is suitable to climb in winter. It is the nearest section of the Great Wall to Beijing - a little nearer than BaDaLing that it connects to; both these sections of Great Wall protect the same natural pass through the mountains through which now passes the Badaling Expressway and a railway line. JuYongGuan rises steeply each side of a fortified gate. There is a temple and other attractions near it. JuYongGuan Great Wall also features some life-size Terracotta Warriors.
After that, you will enjoy traditional Chinese massage in the city. You will surely feel comfortable here.
In the dusk, you will take a car back to the city and have Peking Roasted Duck Dinner tonight, the local delicacy of Beijing.

Day 4. Beijing to Shanghai
ShanghaiToday, you will take a car to airport in the morning and fly to Shanghai with CA1501 (08:30-10:40). Upon arrival, you will be picked up by the local guide and take a car to Yu Garden.
Yu Garden, a classical garden in downtown Shanghai, boasts a history over 400 years. Each pavilion, hall, stone and stream in the garden is expressing the quintessence of South China landscape design from Ming and Qing Dynasty. Over forty spots, pided by dragon walls, wound corridors and beautiful flowers, form a unique picture featuring "one step, one beauty; every step, every beauty." The surrounding market is packed with traditional and modern shops, restaurants and temples.
Next is French Concession.
The French Concession is the area of Shanghai once designated for the French. It now covers the Luwan and Xuhui Districts. The concession is a pleasant mix of wide tree lined streets and interesting European style architecture.
After supper, you will visit the Bund.
The Bund in Shanghai is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai from early 1900\'s. It winds a 1500 meters (less than one mile) in length and a wonderful place to admire both of the old buildings on the west bank of Huangpu River and the brand grand new buildings in Pudong. Particularly in the evening, the night view is non to second in China or maybe Asia as well.

Day 5. Wuzhen
WuzhenThis day, you will visit east part of Wuzhen and deeply learn the oriental arte here including the Puppet show, Ancient Printing and Dyeing work shop, ancient wine shop, traditional furniture (bed) show room, of which the puppet show is rather interesting.
Called "marionette show" in ancient China, a puppet show is a theatre performance in which puppet figures are made to move by puppeteers pulling strings or by putting their hands inside them. Today, shadow puppetry shows face extinction like other traditional art forms such as Nuo Drama.

Day 6. Wuzhen to Shanghai
WuzhenThis day, you will visit the east part by private paddle, wandering around and visit the old buildings and traditional arts and crafts workshops. It reminds you of Venice.
In the afternoon, you will take a car back to Shanghai and watch Acrobatics Show in the Evening.
Has been called the national arts for many years, Chinese Acrobatics is a charm of Shanghai.
The history of acrobatics in China can be traced back to Neolithic times. It is believed that acrobatics grew out of the labor and self-defense skills that the people practiced and demonstrated during their leisure time. By 300 BC, such skills as walking on 3-meter high stilts and juggling 7 daggers at a time had been developed in China.
Acrobatics is an interactive art form. Whether you are old or young, educated or illiterate, you can appreciate it as long as you can see. There is no language barrier and cultural border.

WuzhenOn the last day of the tour, you will check out in the morning and take a vehicle to airport and fly home.
