Day 1:Tunxi Arrival
Take flight to Huangshan.
Upon arrival Huangshan airport, be greeted by our Huangshan local guide.
We will do a short hike between the villages as warm up of the coming hike.

Day 2:Xi County
After breakfast, explore around Tunxi. Drive to 200-history Hukai Ink Factory, visit how to make ink and try one for yourself.
In the afternoon, drive to Shitan Village, hike in the country road. The route will be Shitan Village, Hushan Village, Xiatai and Shitan. The whole hiking distance will be 10 km, 3-4 hours.

Day 3:Xi County
This day, continue your cultural exploration. In the morning, visit a inkstone factory. Inkstone is used for holding the ink and placing the Ink brush. The art has been intangible cultural heritage. In this factory, learn the history of inkstone and how to make it.
In the afternoon, visit Tangyue memorial archways.
As a complex of seven arches, Tangyue Memorial Arch was listed as a key national cultural protection unit under the approval of the State Council in 1996. Situated in Tangyue Village six kilometers (four miles) west of the renowned Town of Arches - Shexian County, Huangshan City, it is the biggest existing and best-preserved complex of arches in Anhui Province.
The seven memorial archways were built by the Baos in honor of the merits and virtues of their family members. They stand in the main street of the village in order of \'loyalty, filial piety, chastity and charity\'. Three were constructed in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and the other four in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The most ancient one, which has a long history of over 580 years, can be traced back to 1420 during the reign of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty. The latest one was built in 1820 in the reign of Jiaqing.
In the late afternoon, drive to Jixi.

Day 4:Jixi County
Today, learn the art of Wood carving in Jinping. You will know about how to do it and make it yourself. Remember to take it home when it’s done.
In the afternoon, explore around Xidi Ancient Villages.
Xidi Ancient Village is a well-preserved and time-honored ancient village in Huangshan City. In 2000, Xidi was declared a part of the “Ancient Villages in Southern Anhui” World Heritage Site by UNESCO, along with Hongcun Ancient Village.
In Xidi Ancient Village, there are still 300 ancient dwelling left from Ming and Qing Dynasties, among them, there are 124 well-preserved. Hence, it got a very beautiful name “Household in Peach Blossom Garden”.

Day 5:Hongcun
After breakfast, bike to Hongcun.
Hongcun Village is located in Yixian County, located near the southwestern slope of Huangshan Mountain. It is listed as one of China\'s top 10 charming villages and together with Xidi Village it was added to UNESCO\'s World Cultural Heritage List in 2000. Morning mists, gray tiles, white walls, stone bridges, water lily ponds, and hills at the background, are all elements of traditional Chinese landscape paintings. Hongcun Village has all of these features, and has been named "a village in the Chinese painting".
While in the afternoon, drive to Lucun and visit Wood-carving buildings.

Day 6:Qimen and departure
This day, you will learn the art of Qimen Red Tea, one famous tea in China.
Keemun or Qimen is a famous Chinese black tea. First produced in late 19th century, it quickly became popular in the West and is still used for a number of classic blends. It is a light tea with characteristic stone fruit and slightly smoky notes in the aroma and a gentle, malty, non-astringent taste reminiscent of unsweetened cocoa. Top varieties have orchid-like fragrance and additional floral notes in the flavor.
After that, drive to the airport and fly back home.
